Welcome and thank you very much for visiting my web page! I’m proud to say I’ve been teaching at New Boston since 2006! I am beginning my 8th year in 2nd grade and I’m looking forward to a new class and our exciting adventures together! My childhood was spent in Cincinnati where I attended K-7 grade. I then moved to Conifer, Colorado for junior high and high school before graduating from Wheelersburg in 1989. I continued my education career at Ohio University receiving my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education for grades 1-8. I also have a Reading Endorsement for grades K-12 from Shawnee State University.
I believe all children can learn and every child is unique! Every child learns at their own pace and in their own time. Your child started school with the knowledge and perspective skills gained from you and other family members. From this point on, we will be a team to share in the important task of educating your child with the best possible academic program. It is important to me to communicate in order to be a team. Please don’t hesitate in contacting me about any issues your child may have whether academic, physical, or emotional. I am here to help. In my classroom, we focus on building relationships and encouraging a positive display of behavior. I believe that in supporting a child’s social-emotional, physical, and safety needs it will contribute to a fully engaged student who enjoys learning and is successful. I truly love what I do and my goal is to help your child feel confident in anything they set their mind to! I can’t wait to work with you and your child this year! Your child’s success and happiness are very important to me. We are going to have a very “PAW-sitive” Tiger Year!

- Wheelersburg is my home with my husband Brian and our son Connor (7th Grade).
- My son, Logan, lives in Portsmouth and is a father of 2 beautiful boys Alexander-4 and Jiraiya-1 year. He is the owner and operator of Logan’s Wicked Detail, LLC. a mobile car detailing business.
- My daughter, Sacha, lives in Flatwoods, Ky. and is expecting her first child very SOON on September 9th! I can’t wait to meet her baby boy, Cashton Carter Davis! #MawmawX3
